By default we do not
provide new customers with their root password. We do however provide
all server customers with administrative access to their server's WHM
(to manage your cPanel and website accounts), and we handle the rest of
the server-level management on your behalf. This is the benefit of
ordering a fully managed server - uptime monitoring, security, updates,
etc. are all handled by eleven2.
That said, if you are an experienced linux systems administrator, and
you would like direct root access to your managed dedicated server, we
are happy to provide you with the password (upon request).
Please note that if you make changes to the server's configuration, our
security setup, etc., and experience downtime or problems as a result,
there is an $80.00/hour charge to troubleshoot downtime and/or issues
caused by your changes.
